FCA fines lowest in 2020 since creation in 2013 

The Financial Conduct Authority in 2020 issues only 10 fines totalling £183.6 million in penalties, the third lowest in its 7 year history.

Allianz chief urges stricter fintech rules 

The Chief Executive of Allianz calls for stricter regulation where technology meets finance after the Wirecard scandal. In an interview, he says that the collapse of Wirecard is a symptom of a wider problem and called for “regulation for what people do rather than what they call themselves”
